    Build/install details

    in General Discussion

I am installing a Dynon box and am interested in details for building/setting up the Gen 1 system. Details Like this page under construction (https://www.flyonspeed.org/gen-1) may have one day. Is this info published anywhere else yet?

    Patiently waiting/watching progress on Gen 2 ...

    Hi Peter,

Not yet. I am still finishing up the academics and technical resources sections of the site. The plan is to finish up the "how to" section as soon as this is complete with the basic site ready to go by Oshkosh (July 2019) timeframe. In the mean time, if you drop an email, we'll help you with specifics. The most critical part of Gen 1 capability is to have your Dynon AOA calibrated and then make allowance in the Gen 1 software settings for your unique calibration (every calibration is different). I'm happy to help you with that. You can either email me at my flyonspeed address or at vacf15 at yahoo dot com when your hardware is built. Gen 1 software is effectively frozen, so the version on GitHub is current.

    Cheers,

    Vac
