I was able to get the answer from Bob Baggerman. It is a direct electral replacement. Mechanically the new IMU is about 1-2mm narrower in the long axis. The side with 5 pins is NC, not connected. Use 1 pin and bend it to fit just for support. Could glue a no conductive spacer as an alternative. I cut the IMU chip in half longitudinally with a dremel tool. Then desoldered the 5 pin side. You don't have be careful on this side since it is not used electrically. Just heat and yank it. The other row pin of requires some care to desolder This needs to be in the manual ! Also how to modify the line in the software to change IMUs should be better documented. Max

I could not get my Samsung Note 10's browser to connect. Tried an Ipad , this connects. I was able to update the firmware. Still having problems updating software. Arduino IDE appears to uploads and reboots sucessfully. Nevertheless the IPAD can't communicate with the Teensy 3.6. That is, I can't get the config etc of the Teensy. Wifi firmware shows current verson. The software shows nothing just : Suggestions? Thanks Max

If they are made in China if may take even longer or never. It has been a deal breaker for me. I have had to go with the Dynon AOA for now
