I bought the parts to build the Gen 2 V3 over three years ago. After soldering the non-static-sensitive parts I stalled when a friend criticized my beginner soldering job. Later examination by a less OCD acquaintance indicated that the solder job was acceptable, but I was busy with other projects by then. Then the new IMU discussion happened.
I believe I understand what's needed to restart my build with the new IMU but I'm wondering if it's worth the effort with V4 in the wings (oops, bad pun!). If V4 is months away I'll just send my parts (including a Teensy 3.6) to the team to support their testing efforts and wait for the V4 build to be available. If it's realistically a year or two (or more!) away then I'll continue with the V3 build. I really want the FlyONSPEED AOA!
So I'd appreciate a reasonable guess on the V4 timeline, or just advice to keep building if that's appropriate.

Hi Jim,
Good to hear from you again. Build on, v4 is at least a year in the future. We are still in design/bread-board phase and Lenny wants to mature spin detection in v3 in the near-term.
Cheers,
Vac
